A roofer attached to a harness and safety line (top two photos) works at the peak of the roof on the new Avalon Inn on Monday afternoon.At the rate construction is proceeding, the building will be completely under roof in another day or two. The third photo shows the front of the building, which is under construction on Baltimore Avenue at 1st Street. The inn promises to be a handsome addition to downtown Ocean City.
