Wild Winter Weekend in OC: Seagulls

It was cold, and mostly sunny and dry Saturday and Sunday, great January weather that brought quite a few bundled-up walkers onto the Ocean City Boardwalk.

I spotted a big long-legged bird, probably a heron, taking a stroll in West Ocean City (see the post above), and this gull at right walking at North Division Street.

In the two photos directly above, two folks were feeding seagulls on the beach Sunday and attracted quite a flock. Some of the gulls became downright aggressive during the feeding frenzy.

Today, Monday, was gray and overcast, and we had a few lonely snowflakes in the morning. Looks like we're in for very wintry weather across Maryland for the next few days. Most likely a "wintry mix" of snow and rain, and maybe some ice, in the Worcester County part of the state.
